Work. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
It’s easy to fall into a routine, particularly during the colder months when the days are dark and short. We go through the motions, losing sight of our surroundings and all the small, magical moments that exist in our everyday lives.
Luckily, come summertime, we feel more inspired to change up our daily routine. We’re a little more awake, and a little more excited. Sunny days and beautiful weather. Warm evenings and crafted drinks.
And if you’re lucky enough, a great rooftop to enjoy it all.
We really can’t pinpoint our favorite thing about summer (what’s not to love?) but rooftop cocktails are easily near the top of the list. There’s nothing more enjoyable than a great Altos drink paired with a stunning view. What’s more, the experience gives us the opportunity to take in a new perspective. One we may have otherwise missed as we mill about our busy day.
Once roof-bound, you’ll need a proper drink to make the moment even more enjoyable. When craving something refreshing, we love a citrusy Crafted Paloma. Though technically grapefruit season has come to a close, it’s easy to find them year-round; or try freshly pressed and bottled juice from the grocery store. Call us biased—but there’s little more that’s better than a refreshing Paloma enjoyed in the open air.
…Except, of course, our Altos Fresh cocktail enjoyed alongside a stunning sunset. It’s an equally refreshing craft cocktail made with green tea, cucumber syrup, lime juice and Ricard. Cucumbers are coming in to season, and we love them in a good drink!
And while there’s no denying how much a great view adds to the ambiance of the evening, it’s really about taking a moment to pause and enjoy what surrounds you, be it good friends, great views, or a perfectly crafted Altos cocktail. So take five, turn on some tunes and take it all in.
